Another Party!

(Me, Krystal and Tanya)
Well this weekend we had yet another party. This time it was a surprise 60th for Luba one of the ladys at work (who is also Tanya's mother in law, Matt's mom) It was alot of fun. We held it at the office and it went off without a hitch. Of course it felt a little weird partying at the office with the bosses and all the drinking and what not. But it was good times. After the party wrapped up at the office Krystal (a friend I worked with a the hotel and is now here), her boyfriend, Matt and Tanya and Scott and I headed back to our place for an after party which lasted until 4am. We were all feeling pretty rough Sunday but had an awesome time!!!

It was a Turkey Day Alright...

This past weekend was a very busy one, but a very exciting one. My bestest bud Jaymes came down for the weekend, so Saturday night I was downtown TO to pick him up at the bus station. Of course his bus got in at the same time the game was letting out so I was surrounded by Leafs fans, it was awesome!
Sunday morning we went home to my parents for church and then to Wonderland. We only had a few hours in the park, but we had a great time. Kim, Jay and Jaymes and I. We then headed home for dinner with the family. When we got home it was actually really funny cause Alyssa heard us come in and she got really excited and just kept saying "auntie Laurie's home" and was insitant on seeing "auntie Laurie". I love that she knows me and isn't afraid of me and loves to see me even though she's only 2 and lives miles away. It's a good feeling to know that she is very aware of the people in her life.
Monday Jaymes and I spent the afternoon downtown TO shopping at the Eaton Centre and checking out Young Street. It was pretty neat, I haven't been in TO forever I actually don't remember the last time if any I was downtown TO. Although I admit that I HATE driving in it. It was avery busy weekend but definitly a good one.... and of course here are some pictures!

Turkey Time!!!

Whoo hoo... I get to have mom's turkey and stuffing this weekend!! As you can tell I'm a little excited!! I love my mom's stuffing, I really love it when Alyssa isn't helping her with it (Alyssa appears to like a LOT of spices) , but I love it none the less.
I'm also excited that I get my new dining room set this weekend. Fianlly my living room and dining room will have matching furniture. It's been a year and Scott and I still have an old table in our dining room, with four non-matching chairs, and a small cabinet from IKEA with my grandmothers china in it. I will finally have a real dining room. A full set, table 6 chairs and china hutch!! How old am I that this excites me??
We will also be making a trip to Wonderland this weekend. Jay, Kim and myself anyway. Scott is still undecided on if he's coming home with me, and Tim bailed on us to work (what the hell??)
And I will be seeing my very sweet and beautiful neice who I truley adore! Oh AND my bestest man in the world Jaymesssssss might be coming down for the weekend! This weekend seriously is getting better and better all the time!! I'm so excited for it. Tired and a little on the exhusted side but excited.
As I posted yesterday it was Jay's graduation last night. My little man is soooooo grown up. I took lots of pictures, kinda embarassed him a little I think...but it was fun! I will post these pictures a little later since I haven't downloaded them yet... in the mean time my fav. pictures of Alyssa.

Graduation Night

So tonight my little, taller then me, brother graduates high school. Kinda weird to think he's already in Unviersity and has been for a month now but will just be "graduating" from high school tonight.
Hard to beleive the "little guy" is 18 now. Wow, just blows my mind!! He has grown up so quickly but I must say he has grown into an amazing and wonderful young man. And I'm not just saying that cause I adore him I'm saying it cause I mean it. He has to be the most polite and well manned, well behaved 18 year old I've ever met...I know what you're all thinking, considering what I was like at 18 that isn't saying much, but honestly he's such an amazing man. Regardless of the influences or dispite the influences he had growing up which ever way you want to look at it.
Point being I am a very proud big sister. Even prouder to know he's now only about a 1/2 hr away from me through the school year.
So tonight after I finish work I will run home quickly to kiss my boyfriend, dog and cat and head on my way to Brampton to see my favorite little brother in his cap and gown. Stay tuned for pictures cause now that I know how to do it I'll be posting them all the time!

Pictures!!!!!

Wyatt-Horspool Wedding

Well the weekend has once again come and gone way to fast!
Saturday was the much anticpiated Wyatt-Horspool wedding. Or better known as Tanya and Matt. The wedding was beautiful as to be expected and it was an awesome night of good times and memories.
I'm still sick, going on a week now which really sucks, but I still managed to have a great time. Friday night was the rehersal which went well considering the minister who was doing the ceremony wasn't present at the rehersal. After which we went back to Matt's parents place for drinks and food. Saturday came very fast. I was at the apartment with the guys helping them get ready as they called me in a panic none of them knowing how to put a tux on and being out of beer. So I stopped to pick up their boutneers on my way to the apartment, got there at about 2 to help them finish dressing and put their boutneers on. Took some pictures and headed to meet afew of our friends at the jam hall to go to the wedding together.
After the ceremony which was beautiful we headed to the reception hall. Dinner was fantastik, of course I was starving. But it was awesome. Tanya looked amazing, Matt cried through the enitre ceremony and it was just increadible to see such love and joy. Scott said it best, Tanya was glowing!
The reception went pretty late, it was almost 1:30 befor it started clearing out and then of course there was an after party back at the hotel...
Needless to say it was a great night, I didn't get out of bed yesterday until about 6pm!!!! I'm going to try and post some pic's!!!
