ARGGGHHH

OKay seriously what's with all these new things Facebook, MySpace, WRYN, I just can't keep up! It seems every day I get another request to join something or other! And honestly I have no idea how to use ANY of them. I've kinda figured out the facebook thing but I"m not liking it so much. I don't like that I can read everything people say about my little brother I'm discovering things I don't want to know! Yeah I'm a little over protective but I think he and I will be having a chat when he's here to visit this weekend.
Good news I finally get my new car this weekend!! Whoo Hoo!!!! Can't wait! It's a 2001 Ford Mustang Convertible silver exterior, black leather interior. It's pretty! I know it's not really a chick car but when have I ever been a chick?? It'll feel kinda cool being the only girl driving around K-W in a Mustang. Scott decided that he wants to keep the truck even though it's a peice of crap, but I guess it'll be a good back up or winter beater if need be, and it's a win win situation for both of us. I still get my own, car and he gets to keep his truck. We're both happy campers!
Well My little bro will be here for the weekend this weekend WHOO HOO! I miss the little weenie, get my new car, and Scott and I will be visiting Grandpa (his) he's very sick with cancer of the bowel so please keep him in your prayers!

New Car

Well it's been a very stressful last few weeks. Our truck broke down so Scott has taken over my car...it sucks! I must say the last 2 years I've been spoiled. Up until Scott I never had my own car and relied on public transportation and I did well! I was very independant and could get where ever I needed to..it may have taken afew hours but I got there. Well when you have access to a car for two years you become a little less public transportation friendly.. okay alot less.
Although I haven't had to go that route due to great friends, I've felt a little at loss without my car. So after afew weeks of back and forth on the decision to fix or not to fix that 97 explorer we've decided that we will purchase a new car. The lucky girl who gets to drive it.... ME!!!!
2001 Mustang Convertible... In Jay's words..."Sis you're going to be cool now!" NOW??? What the hell?
Anyway by the end of this week I will have my new car in my driveway... I took it out last night for a spin and it was a cool ride. Different from the accent I've been cruising in but exciting!!
So if any of you out there know anything about cars please let me know you're thoughts on the Mustang.... before I jump!!!!

2007

Well it's a New Year and here's hoping that it's a hell of a lot better then the last. I didn't end 2006 is the best way, or even remotely close to decent. And all I can I say is thank god it's a new year, and a fresh start. I want to leave 2006 and the problems, trials and everything else behind me and begin again.
But I am also very aware that I can't forget where I've been, what I've seen, what I've done because I'll be bound to repeat it. 2007 is going to be my year. I'm going to be strong and stand on my own. No one is going to bring me down, or make me second guess myself. I'm sticking to what I know and letting go of the what if's. Life's to short to live by the what if's.
BTW -Steph you have no idea how glad I was to talk to you the other night! I just needed someone to talk to and you were the only one I knew I could!!!

Happy Birthday to Tanya!! 30 Wow!!! SOOOOOO OLD! (I love being the youngest in our group and not by a few months either! They all have 3 years on me it's great!)

Merry Freakin' Christmas

Goober is in the Christmas spirit but seriously... what is it going to take to get me into the hoilday mood??? It's less then a week until Christmas and I honestly just don't care. How sad and depressing is that? Am I really getting that old? Last year I was so excited about Christmas and being able to decorate a house and all that nonesense, this year I have two dogs and 30 year old who acts like a 3 year old when he's sick (he's got food posioning right now and driving me crazy!) and I haven't put up a single decoration inside the house.
I did put the tree and village up in the porch but I just can't bring myself to put anything up inside with the two dogs. I don't want to come home to find my home destroyed every day. And I guess it really dosen't help that it's been amazingly beautiful these past few weeks. I love it, but come on already! You can't have christmas without snow!!! If I wanted a green Christmas I'd be in California!!!
I don't know maybe this is the blahh behind christmas this year. I am however looking forward to seeing my very beautiful niece, I've had quite the conversations on the phone with her lately. She's such a talker! And I guess the rest of the family won't be so bad to see either...(just kidding guys, I love ya's!)
However it won't be the same yet again this year not being with my bestfriend and in the best city, Ottawa is still home!
Any idea's on how to get the spirit let me know!!!!

New Addition to our family!

No it's not what you're all thinking! Scott and I have had added another puppy to our household!! and I've just relized that I have not posted any pictures of the current "babies" we have. I will do so I promise!!!
This little guys' name is "Goober" he's an english bulldog/jack russel mix. Funky breed huh? A bull-Russel... but he is the sweetest thing ever! Of course his first night was a long one! He went to bed in the cage at about 10:30 and by 1 was crying so I got up took him outside and he peed. Well he wasn't going back into the cage so I blocked of the kitchen like I did when Russ was little and let him sleep in there in his big bed. He seemed content of course had accidents through the night but thats to be expected. When Scott got up instead of taking him out he decided to put him in bed with me, well Goober jumped down and peed on my floor. I got out of bed pretty quick for a non-morning person. Took him outside where he did his number 2.
Of course I checked on him at lunch, he was in the cage while I was at work, had no accidents took him out to the back and played in the snow with him and Russ. Goober did his buisness and we went back inside. I decided not to pur him back in the cage since Scott should be home shortly anyway but now I'm a little concerned and thinking whats going on in that kitchener now.
Russ seems to like him, I noticed he tried to get him out of the cage this morning... NOT GOOD. And Buddha is doing just fine, she has adjusted well to Russ and I don't think Goober will be nearly as crazy as he was.
I will keep you all posted!

Addiction

Ok so I have a confession to make...I am totally addicted to on-line shopping!!! Espeically E-Bay. I can't stop, seriously I can not stop bidding on things. The good news is I've finished my Christmas Shopping...and did really well!!! I have a pretty large family as you all know I'm sure, and I've managed to get everyone's presents while spending just over $200 CAD. That is amazing!!!
And I've also discovered Old Navy deleivers from any store in Canada to your door for only $5.00... I fell in love with a skirt online but they only deliver to the US so they told me to call stores in Canada I called Rideau Centre and sure enough they had it in my size shipped it to me UPS and I had it the next day when I got home from work! How cool is that?!?!?!
Problem is I can't stop now... I've discovered so many wonderful things on e-bay that I know so many people will love that I can't stop now, I keep seeing things and automatically clicking the mouse to place my bid and then I wait...and wait... for the bidding to be over and get all excited cause I just won it.
Seriously for anyone looking for great presents for family and friends or even yourself, check it out! You can get anything and everything... I even got myself my Grey'a Anotomy Season 2 and guess what it cost me...Yep $30.00 with shipping!!! That's amazing considering it's $60 instores. And Desperate Housewives season 2 yep...$20.00! I got a Maple Leafs Watch for 0.01...can you beleive that a penny!! It's costing me $20.00 for shipping it but whatever!!!
And the best part it's all brand new! E-bay is very strict with their sellers and buyers, it's very safe and honestly the deals are increadible!!!!

Does anyone know of an EA meeting around me?? (E-Bay Annoynamous')
