A day in the life of a cookie...

Just another day living in a cookie world

Thursday, June 29, 2006

Well I'm trying to keep up on this, but it's hard trying to manage every day life lately. For anyone wondering our precious little Russ passed Puppy School, he more then passed actually. He was first in the class. Needless to say Scott and I were both pretty surprised, he's a stubborn little guy when he wants to be yet he was on his best behavor with the fastest time Tuesday night. Didn't have to repeat a command once he did everything he was told. To bad every day wasn't like that. Last night I came home to find paper chewed up into little peices in the hallway upstairs, and every shoe Scott and I own in a pile in the living room.... He keeps us on our toes that's for sure.
Can you believe it's Thrusday already? And July! The time is just flying by. Before you know it it's going to be Christmas...which reminds me maybe I should start my shopping. Well another busy weekend coming. Long Weekend though...I like that. My little guy is leaving for camp for the summer, Jay will be working at Huron again this year. He leaves today actually. Tomorrow my sister and brother-in-law and beautiful neice will be coming down for the long weekend to Brampton so I will probably end up there on Sunday. And of course it's a long weekend so I will be catching up on the house work, do some running around and start to get my camping stuff together for the weekend in Algonquin that is fast approaching.
So last night I was over at Tanya's for a few hours while the guys were out and we were talking about a bunch of things but mainly the goven't and how corrupt they are. I've been notified that I owe them over $6000.00 now because of an over payment that was given to me 4 years ago when I was on Employement Insurance. What's so frustrating is that for years I struggled to get by with out any help, and now that I'm doing okay I have them coming down on me hard. Makes me so mad that the one time I needed help, and only time I needed help I'm getting scrwed over with now. Yet people can sit on welfare all their lives and never pay back a cent. Who came up with that idea. Anyway if anyone has any ideas on how to make some quick cash and get this re-payment as low as possible I am all ears!!!!
